33 55 | Why Dirk Nowitzki Wears the Number 41

12/21... 12+21 = 33, also, 12/21/2010 was the "real 12/21/2012"...
Dirk Nowitzki is the German born NBA star who was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1998, and immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he became a star some seasons after being drafted.
  • Dirk = 4+9+9+11 = 33
  • Nowitzki = 5+6+5+9+2+8+11+9 = 55
  • Dirk Nowitzki = 33+55 = 88
His nickname is "Diggler", or Dirk Diggler.
  • Diggler = 4+9+7+7+3+5+9 = 44
Talk about a name with master numerology; 33, 44 and 55.

As for his jersey number, he wears 41.  Why?  I think it has a lot to do with numerology, and everything to do with his life number.  To calculate your life number, you sum each digit of your birthday.  We will use Dirk Nowitzki's birthday as our example.  He was born June 19, 1978.
  • 6/19/1978 = 6+1+9+1+9+7+8 = 41
Dirk Nowitzki was often compared to Larry Bird at the beginning of his career, being a large power forward who could shoot the three ball as well as the best of them.  Strangely enough, he also surpassed Larry Bird in all-time scoring on December 21, 2010, the night the Iraqi Consitution was created, and also the night that was the "real Mayan mark on the calendar".
  • Bird = 2+9+18+4 = 33
  • 12/21 = 12+21 = 33
  • 2010 = 2+0+1+0 = 3
His three-point stroke is arguably as good as Reggie Miller's, who now calls NBA games for Turner Network Television.
  • Miller = 4+9+3+3+5+9 = 33
  • Turner = 2+3+9+5+5+9 = 33
Dirk Nowitzki previously defeated LeBron James in the NBA Finals; in the 2010-11 season.
